Recently I completed a commission for a full steampunk PS3 case mod. Previously, I had only been aware of one steampunk Playstation 3; the promotional build for the release of Damnation on Ps3/Xbox. While I thought that the Damnation PS3 was very cool, I couldn’t help but notice it had left large areas uncovered and still had lots of the glossy black Sony plastic still exposed. For me (and my client), full coverage was key in this build and I wanted it to reallybe a proper case-mod (without compromising any internal functionality/warranty). Functional lights, custom woodworking (black walnut and maple) throughout, and finished by hand. Check it!

How much did it cost to make this?
Couple hundred in materials (which includes lights, custom brass, etc) plus the cost of a PS3. This does not account for labour.
